  I ordered a hamburger which was easily a 1/2lb and seemed homemade as were the soups. I'm used to getting packaged food or food out of a can at similar roadside restaurants but that wasn't the case here.

  Server was very friendly, attentive and I was amazed how well she handled the tables in the full restaurant by herself without breaking a sweat and still finding time to socialize with the locals.

  The restaurant has a wonderful history described in the front of its menus. I don't quite get the Parisian theme though but it's certainly consistent.

  Periodically the Mrs and I go out for a lengthy drive and then stop wherever for lunch or dinner. This stop was a good choice. Small restaurant but there was nothing to be critical about. Pleasant staff, clean, well appointed washrooms down to a fabric pen just in case you spilled on your clothes.

  My friends and I travel 2-3 times each year for the past 14 years on week long MC trips. I have been thru the back roads of 28 states and 4 provinces thus I have been in all kinds of restaurants. Stopped in here for b'fast this past August. One of the best I've. Certainly the best in Ontario which is home, too bad it's 3 hours from this place.

  Very good quality food for an affordable price. The menu is mostly typical diner food with lots of favourites but nothing unique.
